A lot has happened since my last newsletter. I am proud to say that I have just become a playing artist and clinician for Sonare' trumpets. I am so excited about these trumpets. Sonare' has outdone themselves with two remarkable Bb trumpets....the 800 band 900 series. I am currently playing the 900 and am loving every minute of it. To learn more about this company be sure to check out their website at sonarewinds.com.
You will be glad you did!!
Here's me with my new Sonare' 900 Bb trumpet
Some really fun gigs have come up for me lately. Before the New Year, I had the pleasure of doing two gigs with Danny Seraphine and his group CTA..I will be joining up with them again when they come to Lancaster, Pa. on June 10th to play the Longs Park Amphitheater....that should be a blast!!! The Berks Jazz Fest was a lot of fun this year. My group Anomaly had a fun concert at Canal Street Pub In Reading Pa.The Berks Jazz Fest Horns were up to our old tricks again for some really great gigs at the Fest this year. We started out joining the Heads Up All-Star band for a few numbers for their two shows. Then the next Day we played the closing number for the Sax Pack show...and went on to do Chuck Loebs' show at the end of the festival. The Jazz Fest gigs were great and the artists were such fun to play with. I also had the chance to sub for the National Tour of the Broadway show The Producers when they came to the Meriam Theater in Philadelphia Pa. This was nice because I got to see some of my friends that were on the 42nd Street tour with me last year. Most recently , I had the chance to play for Frankie Valli and the four seasons. All in all things have been going great!!!
